We Dont Do Life Alone

I got a lengthy text from a friend this morning. Life is a bit difficult right now with some health issues, and it’s hard on our marriage. She texted later to say, “I’m sorry; maybe I shouldn’t have shared so much!” My eyes leaked.
For it is this very reason that friendship and connection are so important in life. It is the opportunity to be Jesus with skin on. It’s the opportunity to share in life with someone. It’s the opportunity to see life through someone
else’s lens.
I’m so grateful for the friendships that create a shelter for me—a safe place to run and find my God with open arms.
I like this picture. I look at it see the shelter of a cave, but in that cave is the shelter of my friend. She has been Jesus with skin to me many times in life.
We don’t do life alone.
