I am married to my high school sweetheart for almost 50 years! How is that even possible? I can’t really be mature enough for that! Anyway, we have two lovely daughters, a son-in-law and 5 of the cutest grandkids on earth! I have always wanted a sister, but nope just 3 brothers. I guess that’s why my girlfriends have always been so special. Back in the mid 80”s I began organizing women’s events at my church and haven’t stopped! I love getting women together, laughing, learning, and building relationships.

I started life over at 60. That redo included dating apps, online dating, starting a nonprofit, a new grandbaby, a new home, and a new marriage. Joe and I were married in 2021. I have 3 kids and 8 grandkids; Joe has 4 kids and 6 grandkids. I have been given new strengths and new opportunities to live life in my golden years! I like nothing better than encouraging women that God never gives up on them no matter what curve ball life has thrown their way. Girlfriends have helped me stay connected to God, and rooted in the strength that God gives while sharing life through laughter and tears.
